Five Dream Trips to be Awarded in Travelocity Rewards American Express® Card Sweepstakes

Promotion Celebrates Launch of New Card

Southlake, TX June 7, 2010 To celebrate the launch of the new Travelocity Rewards American Express® Card, issued by Barclaycard US, five different dream trips will be awarded to the Grand Prize Winners of an exciting sweepstakes that will run during the summer of 2010.

Grand Prize Winners will receive one of five dream trips to Chile, New Zealand, South Africa, Switzerland and Orlando. Exciting travel benefits include:

In addition, Grand Prize Winners will be outfitted with their own "Roaming Gnome" and digital camera so they can document their trip and share photos on the Travelocity website.

"The sweepstakes is a fun way to commemorate the launch of our new card program," said Victoria Treyger, Chief Marketing Officer, Travelocity. "With its accelerated rewards earning capability, the new Travelocity Rewards Card is all about getting people on the road for award travel. By using the Card for all of their spending, all Travelocity customers can be that much closer to their own dream trip."

With the new Travelocity Rewards American Express Card, which carries an annual fee of $39, Cardmembers can take advantage of a comprehensive, easy-to-use and generous program that enables them to earn 5 points for every $1 spent at Travelocity. In addition, Cardmembers can choose from one of three categories restaurant, groceries or gas to earn an additional 2 points for every $1 spent within their selected category and 1 point for every $1 spent on all other purchases. Cardmembers can also opt for a version of the Travelocity Rewards American Express Card, which carries no annual fee and offers 3 points for every $1 spent at Travelocity and 1 point for all other purchases.

With the Travelocity Rewards American Express Card, Cardmembers are able to redeem their points faster and for more value compared to other mileage programs. While other airline mileage programs commonly require consumers to redeem a minimum of 25,000 miles on "saver awards," Travelocity makes it easier to cash in for reward travel with no restrictions. For example, Cardmembers can receive $50 off their travel booking starting with just 5,000 points or earn free travel worth up to $400 with only 20,000 points.

The Travelocity Rewards American Express® Card is being marketed through the Travelocity web site, email, web advertising and direct mail. American Express is the official Card of Travelocity.

Consumers can enter the sweepstakes by completing a brief, online enrollment form found at a specially created web destination at:

The deadline for entries is September 15, 2010. Winners will be selected on or around September 28, 2010. Photos from the dream trips will likely start to appear on the Travelocity website during and after the dream trips.
